The New Moon
Solar Eclipse in Taurus asks you whether you are ready to move forward. Do you
have a few things you wish to go back over before you proceed?
Today’s New
Moon in Taurus is like finding a twenty dollar bill in the pair of paints you
just pulled on. You haven’t desired them in a while but today, they just called
to you. So it is with how you have been investing yourself in your projects. When
you revisit the one that has been neglected, it gives you an unexpected reward.
Take care to keep moving forward as this Solar Eclipse could cause you to
hover in a standstill and there is no good reason to become stagnant.
I am not
really sure when it happened but sometime long ago the image of Taurus became
only a bull. You see originally the archetype of this lovely Venus ruled sign
was a dancing girl riding on the back of a bull. The strength of the bull and
the beauty of the rider are two complementary parts representing people born under
the sign of Taurus from April 20/21 to May 21/22.
The New Moon
in the sign of Taurus often creates a renewed sensuality and gives us opportunity
to have more self-acceptance. Today’s New Moon eclipses the Sun signaling a
need for the states of feeling and being to override the thinking and doing
sides of our personalities. Taurus is the fixed earth sign and often seen as
stubborn and a little intense. We must strive to be like the dancing girl
rather than the charging bull and find our graceful balance.
Mercury, the
communicator is in close conjunction to the Sun and Moon during today’s eclipse
and is helping us to express ourselves more eloquently. Pluto, the planet of
change and transformation is in the sign of Capricorn trining the lunar event.
This favorable angle provides us just the little nudge we need to let go and
grow. Also assisting is Neptune in his home sign of Pisces in a supportive
sextile. This could bring a step in the direction of a spiritual epiphany. I

May 2, Venus storms
into Aries ready to spice things up. This Goddess is ready for action and gets
everyone’s juices flowing. Desire heats up a craving to take risks, especially
in the financial arena. Relationships in need of a jumpstart are destined to feel
a much wanted jolt of energy.
Heady Mercury
floats into one of his home signs of Gemini May 7. Study and communication benefit
greatly from this necessary infusion of curiosity. Take advantage by pressing
out beyond your boundaries and trying new ways of communicating. The only
downside is going to the point of being too clever to be understood.
May 14 we
have a Full Moon in Scorpio. Passions flare up as hidden truths are flung to
the surface. There is no use trying to hide what is really going on. Just come
out with it. The sooner it is on the table the easier it will be to perform
damage control. Try to curb your spending appetite. If you must indulge in
retail therapy be sure that you are purchasing long-lasting quality items.
Forget the guilt trip—your happiness level is worth it.
After a long
back-peddle through Libra, the sign of the scales, Mars turns direct May 19.
All delayed activities are finally moving ahead once again. The progress picks
up steam little by little, so be patient. The real turn-around is marked on
July 25, so relax and ride it out.
The Sun moves
into Gemini the sign of the twins May 20. The upside is that moods elevate and
thoughts flow clearly when our minds are bathed with the light of this airy
sign. The challenge is the mutability of the Twins and our difficulty in selecting
and sticking with a choice.
Saturday, May
24 is a lucky day when expansive Jupiter in sensitive Cancer trines sturdy Saturn
in powerful Scorpio. Outside resources become magically available and success
is within our reach. This is a great day to pitch your new ideas, ask for loans
and practice being on the receiving end.
The Solar
Eclipse sets a tone for the coming six months. Be sure to get your ducks in a

19/20 to April 20/21
Turn your

travel at break-neck speed. You finally feel like you are all caught up so take
a little pause to recharge. This little breather helps you to make impeccable decisions.
You are a natural born thrill-seeker but right now I forbid you to partake in
any daredevil activities. If you want to push the boundaries and the limits try
opening your heart and sharing what you are really feeling inside.
Taurus April
20/21 to May 21/22
Put the
finishing touches on your current project and get it off your table and out the
door. This gives the much needed space and time for you to enjoy a pleasure
peak. Your self-esteem and confidence are at an all-time high. Go for
everything that you have held back on as you can easily have it all including the
salary increase, and love interest that had previously appeared just outside of
your reach. Adding to the goodness is a magical windfall inspires a new type of
investment that is sure to bring a great return. Think outside of the box. Shed
your conservative outer shell and live a little.
Gemini May 21/22 to June 21/22
A hushed blanket of quiet is covering your world. There
is no need to think that something is wrong. Just realize that this is a much
needed time out. Really take advantage of it and avoid all social chatting, posting
and texting. This is a prime time of spiritual growth. Immerse yourself in the peace
and solitude. Create extra time for meditation and quiet contemplation. Dust
off your journal and write what is in your heart. This is exactly what you need
to help map out a great game plan for the year ahead.
Cancer June 22/23 to July 22/23
The opportunity to change the way you handle incoming
business and contractual agreements is now. Seek out more comfortable choices
and enlist the help of friends. Your new methods benefit everyone around you so
figure out a way to work less and gain more. The only thing stopping you is
your ability to believe in yourself so you must develop a new way of seeing yourself
as deserving. To get things going, put some time into sorting through old
things in the back of the closet and get rid of them. Every effort, no matter
how great or how small, supports the successful new you.
Leo July 22/23 to August 23/24
Your love light is lit up and burning brightly. Adding to

Many offers are coming in so take a pause in order to

what you can to find pockets of downtime so as to keep from burning yourself
out and developing twitchy disturbances. Focus available energy on increasing

handy down the road. Offers and flirtatious opportunities come at you inviting
you to the relationship arena. Are you ready to “suit up?” Words that have not
been uttered for more than a decade drip like honey from your lips. You are
ready to invite a lucky champion to the winner’s circle and on into your inner

your wit and charm to the many that are ready to receive it. If you are wishing
and wanting a partnership, a new one is rolling in. Those of you in
relationships are about to take a major leap to the next level. Be sure to go
out and strut your stuff with your delicious partner. Indulge in romance. Now
is not the time to stay in. Many new styles and techniques are being offered to
you. This educates you and gives you great opportunity to branch out beyond
your usual comfort zone. There is no such thing as normal anymore!
Capricorn December 21/22 to January

Your recent level of attraction has
risen exponentially. Before you make any moves it is very important to get
crystal clear as to what you really want. Be sure to really think things out in
the final evaluation before signing off on the agreement. Once you set this
plan in motion there is no room for renegotiation. Many opportunities arise to
grow your communication skills. Learn from all of your interactions so as to
add to your repertoire of social skills. When you do finally float back to
earth, dive head first into your work.
Aquarius January 20/21 to February
18/19
Love is in the air. The funny part of
this is that your seemingly new found love has been right by you all along.
Open up and see them through new eyes. An extremely high level of motivation
has you wanting to spend extra time together but there is a twist. This is as
likely to be a creative project as it is to be a fresh new relationship. As you
learn about the true meaning of collaboration; turn all potential
confrontations into opportunities. Sulking about is a waste of time and energy.
You are not losing your independence so refocus and see this through the
filters of new lenses.
Pisces February 18/19 to March 19/20
Home and family life are swept up in a
wave of activity. Rather than getting dragged under and struggling for air—sink
yourself into a long neglected creative project. Watch your stress levels
closely and be mindful of limits so as to not over tax your system. Paranoia
seeps in when you drop the idea that you are a powerful prosperity magnet. Find
some friends to cheer you on with encouragement. An old flame drifts in with
hopes of rekindling your previous affair. Be kind and pass them on to a friend
who is looking. An even better idea: Host a recycling party. Remember: One man’s
trash is another’s treasure!
