Ah, if it were only this simple and easy. This lunation is blown out of the water by an intense opposition by Uranus in Aries and a tight square by Pluto in Capricorn. This is a ticket to a front row seat in drama. Add to the mix Jupiter in Cancer loosely opposite Pluto who is at nine degrees of Capricorn and is tightly squaring the event, and we all get an extra fan to the fire. Fortunately the jovial giant Jupiter is in a wide angle and so many of you can escape with only a tiny singe. Ideas I have to help you get through this are to take extra time to get places by using the longer lazier route and do your best to not push edges or limits.
The good news is that this sort of energetic whoop-up is just what you creative types need to get the last bit of your project out of the corners of your mind and onto the production line. Try new ways of getting your juices flowing through research and new ways to look at development.
The lovely goddess Venus rockets into Sagittarius October 7. Whenever any planet finds themself sitting on the lofty mountaintop of the centaur, they begin wishing for more. When the gorgeous Venus visits the Archer, she seems to be pulled in many directions. This is energetically draining and physically depleting. So as to not become scattered in the winds of change, I urge you to become more organized and sort out all of your thoughts and tasks. You must take extra care in your personal relationships as these are the first to be skipped over during this transit!
Mars makes a cautious switch into Virgo October 15. This puts and interesting spin on your mood and behavior in your personal relationships, given that his lover Venus is flitting around with the Centaur. See what I mean about being pulled in different directions? You guessed it! Now everything becomes even more of a challenge. I know the next few months are going to be filled with clients caught between two lovers. Are you ready for another fly in the ointment? Mercury’s last retrograde of 2013 is in Scorpio beginning October 21 until November 10 when he goes station direct. You know the drill, back up everything, triple check saves and keep all of your data clean and organized. Be sure your battery is fully charged and don’t give up on any electronics until after he is flying in a forward direction once again.
The Sun dives into Scorpion October 22, amplifying and swirling feelings into a whirlpool of intensification. The sign of the Scorpion brings a gnawing need to get to the root of all things. The association of the Scorpion with the eighth house and its rulers Mars and Pluto, force the ego into an intense reevaluation. The Scorpio transit is a clearing and urges us to get real. There is no room to deceive ourselves. The alliance of Mars and Pluto’s rulership forces us to change or cease. There is no grey area. There is no other option.
When outer planets aspect one another the event is of importance due to the slow movement of these distant bodies. This is the fourth in a series of seven that occurs between outrageous Uranus in Aries and transformative Pluto in staunch Capricorn.
