The Full Moon September 27, 2015...what are you ready to let go of?

There was a plethora of mutable earth in the chart of the Solar Eclipse earlier this month on September 13. Tonight we have a Super Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse. It is the 4^th in the Tetrad of Blood Moons. Luna will turn red at 10:50 pm EDT at 4degrees Aries. I am sure you are feeling the winds of change blow your skirt up. Try to strike a sexy pose!

Indeed the earth is moving under your feet and it is likely to cloud your vision path forward. We could look at any day and say the ground is stirring or something is changing, but I know things are seriously shifting us on the path right now.

I find the best way to handle this is to meditate and find stillness. If you don’t have a steady practice, find a way to begin with lessons from a reputable teacher. I am happy to be yours in person, via Skype and the phone.

In the quiet contemplative state of meditation we are able to experience our true state of being, which is infinite. Aristotle said “It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light.” Therefore it is important to regroup and find our own inner light. This is the easiest route out of any dark tunnel.

 

What is a Super Moon? You ask. It is a New or Full Moon that occurs when the Moon is at or within 90% of perigee, its closest approach to Earth.  There are anywhere between four to six Super Moons each year.  A Full Super Moon appears visually closer and brighter. I love to think of the scenes from Moonstruck and Bruce almighty. Both use the Super Moon as an influential aspect in the story.

Because the body is composed of so much water Super Moons affects us just as profoundly as they do the great bodies of water on the planet. We experience stronger emotional tides just as the oceans and lakes rock around with unusual tides.

This is due to a stronger gravitational pull. This in turn causes high tides and more variation between the tides. The great news is we can utilize the energy of the Super Moons to uncover and illuminate our inner possibilities and deepen our self-reflections.

The Ancients warned to not go outside and stand under the light of the Blood Moon Eclipse as this intensifies the cataclysmic effects. If you want to rid yourself of annoying habits, people, places and things and make changes in your life, this energy can be put to good use. I suggest you stay inside and watch the live webcast here and meditate on everything you want to let go of.

The New Moon in Libra inspires the first feelings of seasonal changes in the wind today. Venus in Virgo forms a loose out of sign conjunction to the lunation bringing with her a need for change in our daily habits and schedules. Take it easy on the feelings of needing and wanting to have everything your way or the highway. This is off-putting to your closest connection. Long overdue social breakthroughs are tossed into the public view. This is apparent in my home state of Florida where the issue of medical marijuana is already written into law however, for some idiotic reason it is on the voting ballot. This is a result of Saturn in Scorpio squaring Jupiter in Leo. The whole thing is hilarious to me.

                     

Saturn represents authority and the government and while in the sign of the scorpion, indeed stands to gain a great deal from this change. Meanwhile, Jupiter squaring Saturn in the sign of the lion, absolutely insists on having headlines in the news. My take on it is that of course this is going through. Florida is so in need of subsidy and an infusion of getting into the 21^st century! I predict a rise in the value of properties, new jobs on the market and a much needed changing of the guard and belief systems in the political area. I know Bill Maher is working to “flip districts” and I see this as a step in flipping the state. Uranus in Aries is trine to Jupiter fueling this power play with rainbow tie-die and a deep inhale!

September 27 Mercury the messenger dives into the depths of Scorpio where he curls up and prepares to stay for a retrospective retrograde. His back-peddling begins October 4 and lasts through the next New Moon until October 25. I advise you to spend more time in silent stillness and the meditative state. Venus floats into the sign of the scales September 29 generating a strong craving for our relationships to be harmonious and peaceful. Those of you who have creative outlets find the time and energy to pull them out of their storage spaces and enjoy the process of constructing. Venus love beautiful things and insists on an upgrade, continuing the theme of the month. Take care to not overdue indulge by filling the empty spaces you had created at the beginning of the Lunar month.

October 4, Mercury begins his final retrograde for 2014 in the sign of Scorpion. As always it is a good idea to back up your machines and files. For some of us this is taking shape in the way of renewing equipment. It is a good feeling to catch things before they go completely fubar. The added influence of the Scorpion is to urge us more deeply into self-study.

Our Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in the sign of Aries October 8, is conjunct Uranus causing spontaneous combustion. Keep your cool as best you can. The fires of this event are fanned further by a grand trine with Mars in Sagittarius and Jupiter in Leo. Where this falls in your personal chart determines whether you are going down in flames, shining like a Super Nova or radiating magnificent love to all you meet. To add more alchemy to the month, Pluto squares the lunation adding his brand of intensity to our emotions. Fortunately Jupiter provides his good favor encouraging us to find the spirited side of the situation.

Mercury backs up into Libra just after midnight October 11, which can be very helpful for those of you who have lost your sense of direction. If it hasn’t begun already you are going to meet up with some long lost friends. This reconnection is integral in your evolution. He continues to illuminate past relationship issues and gives you opportunity to get things right.

October 23 the Sun enters the sign of Scorpio insisting that we dive as deeply as possible into our emotions. The best way to be an observer is in the peaceful silence of meditation. Do not let yourself go too far in any one direction but rather find the middle road as in the teachings of the Buddha.

Just when you are starting to feel in the groove and on top of it all, a major change occurs. The New Moon in Aries fires up our enthusiasm! What are you full speed ahead moving into? Aries is the warrior aspect of our self-image. He represents drive and desire, passion and vitality. The warrior can be restless and rebellious and signals the shift from one season to the next. Here in the northern hemisphere it is time to dig in the garden and start new projects. In the southern hemisphere it is time to slow down and begin to turn inward.

This New Moon jump-starts a vigorous trend for the better part of the year. Much new potential is concealed and well hidden from view. Radical Uranus closely conjoins the today’s new moon cycle inspiring recent seeds of change to awaken and start to take root. Former belief systems are being disproved. Long withheld brazen opinions fly off tongues and steps are taken in the much-needed direction of global consciousness.

April 5, Venus floats into Pisces. When the Goddess of Love visits the two fishes she is in her sign of exaltation. This is as great for romance and intimate relationships as it is for finding a closer connection with the Divine Spirit. The only warning I have for you is take care to not be too self-sacrificing especially on April 11 when Neptune unites with Venus for a soiree. If art, beauty and diving into the spiritual side of things are what you have been craving—you are in for a treat.

Mercury rules the way we think and speak our minds. When he roars into the sign of the ram April 7, we are inspired to become overly chatty. April 22, Mars in Libra joins in and the four, form a Grand Cardinal square. This is certain to ignite social upheaval and a variety of disturbances. Take extra precaution with your personal security. I suggest beginning now and have your new system in place by this time. The upside is a guaranteed modification of current standards for the better.

Mercury enters Taurus April 23 helping new ideas with positive solutions to be set in place at a global level. On the contrary, your personal relationships may stagnate a bit in the area of communication. Take extra time to see things through and expect less from others in response time. Exercise fewer reactions and remove your need to verbally feedback. Instead just listen.

The Aries New Moon is a time of renewal and beginning again. We circle around the board and pass “Go” once more. Keep your volatile side in check with concern for others. With self, go full force into a transformation.
