Blessings on this Lunar New Year!

The Lunar New Year is upon us. Today's New Moon is at 4:41:51 EST in just less than an hour. This is the next event in a chain we have been experiencing throughout the recent eclipse cycle in Capricorn and the recent full conjunction of Pluto and Saturn in Capricorn.
The intense energy you are feeling is due to a stellium in Capricorn of Jupiter, Pluto, Saturn, Ceres, and our Moon, and Sun in Conjunction forming a stellium in Aquarius with Mercury.
I suggest quiet contemplation and meditation to reflect on the last year and particularly the last six months. 

Next, place focus on the coming year especially the next six months. Ask yourself what you really want deep within your heart. The time is now to really act as if! This is how you are going to make it happen.

Juno forms a tense with Saturn and Pluto during the lunar event. She is the Queen of Heaven in Astrology, a Great Mother Goddess who represents marriage, entitlement, conjugal issues and partnership particularly in in legal unions.

Suggestion to appease this are connecting with nature quietly, meditating, and visualizing a firm foundation on which to build your dreams. Much of this chart is in the 7th house giving fortification to the areas of partnerships. These can be at any level.
Sky God Uranus squares the Sun and Moon's conjunction spurring erratic behavior especially in public. Please be careful on the roads!

Neptune is conjunct Venus giving a dreamy fairy-tale feel to this event. Remember that the Fae are most powerful and it is easy to become trapped by them in their realm!
This can also inspire profound psychic phenomena. Watch your dreams and tune into all feelings and sensations.

Mars in Sagittarius wants us to take leadership roles and to become crystal clear in our goal-setting. Be sure to maintain your independence throughout this process.

New Moon 15 degrees Pisces March 6 2019

We experienced the New Moon at 11:03:51 a.m. EST on the morning of March 6, 2019 in the sensitive sign of Pisces.

A new moon is when Luna is traveling along with the Sun and today during the exact point of the New Moon at they were at 15 degrees Pisces. This gives us an opportunity for gentle contemplation. Neptune the ruler of the watery realm of Pisces happened to be right alongside this magickal transit at 16 degrees. 

All New Moons are potent times for setting new intentions for our expansion. A Pisces lunation brings with it a great potential for healing. The sign of the two fishes can be just as fickle as it can be empathetic and soulful and this new moon also has us feeling intense ripples of energy that we have no explanation for. 

Today I wish for you to be extra gentle with yourself. Be loving and allow yourself a moment to turn inward and dream. Hopefully you celebrated with a circle of close supportive friends.
The trickster planet Mercury hit his stalling point of station to begin his retrograde motion of backpedaling through Pisces. This backtracking is likely to stir up a lot of feelings over the next few weeks about our personal values and what we stand for. I suggest you set clear intentions today.

This new moon is bringing our wildest dreams bubbling to the surface. The waters ruled by Neptune supercharge us with psychic receptivity. Minding our thoughts and keeping our focus on what is positive and good for the world and all sentient beings is the best choice. 

I can imagine this is a time of great transition for you. Many of my clients and friends—myself included—have been undergoing massive changes and rebranding.

There are two more transits that can be cited as causes of what many are experiencing in the current shaking and shifting. They are the transit movements of Chiron and Uranus.

The Planetoid Chiron who represents past wounds both from this life—and if you believe in karmic patterns—the carry-overs from past lives; has just moved into the energetic sign of Aries.

This can give the feeling that we are being transformed by flames. It is as if a firecracker of change is lighting up a new sector of your natal chart. Chiron had been in Pisces since February 9, 2011 and now he is inspiring a sudden whoosh of energy. I urge you to look back and think about where you were back in 2011. Now look at where you are and how far you have come!

If you are shaking your head saying “no way” right now and feel like the flow of energy has suddenly hit the brakes— this is coming from the planet Uranus who has just entered the earthy sign of Taurus.

Uranus is creating turbulence and in his current position the rumbles are under the surface. Trust me; you are going to see them soon. I personally noticed the most intense period since October 2018 through the Full moon this past February 19, 2019. I have seen patterns in businesses and in individuals showing the intensity of this. We can see it in world news as well.

A Pisces new moon plays with us by juxtaposing the real and the unreal. The ground may feel as though it is shifting but I promise, as soon as the dust settles, the seeds you plant today are going to take root! Choose wisely what you are planting and where you are placing your hopes and dreams.

New Moon in Sagittarius December 7, 2018 2:20:14 a.m. EST

The New Moon at 7⁰ Sagittarius 15’ has us wondering what comes next. You may have misread a tense situation and an opportunity that is inviting you to take a deep dive into the knowing of what you really want in your life. Sagittarius is the optimist and expands everything he comes in contact with. 

December 7, 2018 Mercury turns station direct in Scorpio quincunx Uranus in Aries. This blasts a chord of discontent to many. With Mercury once again heading forward, it can be challenging to hold on as you are likely experiencing chattering vibrations and a bumpy ride. Anxiety and nerves are heightened and there is a preternatural stillness that has you staring into space, wondering what comes next. Be gentle with yourself.

A New Moon is a conjunction with our Sun. This is what causes the Moon to be dark during these three days in the orb of a New Moon.

Boisterous Jupiter—the ruler of Sagittarius—rose early this morning along with the Sun and the Moon.

Sagittarius represents our ability to reach high and set clear goals. I suggest focusing on only what you really want. 

Before doing this, it is also important to be centered and grounded. A little trick I like to use is to stand with my legs slightly wider than my shoulders, with my knees relaxed. Next, breathe in and out of your nose. Then, bounce your heels against the ground keeping the toes and balls of the feet planted and in contact with it. After 10 to 15 bounces, stand still with eyes closed. Here is a lesson I taught to my students:

This helps you reestablish your vision and allows you to release the pent up pressure you have which keeps you from blowing up!

Resentment and insult are signs of denying vulnerability. Reaction to tension is a choice. When we react, this creates more tension. Instead, we must respond to all challenges from the heart. This gives the ability to sail smoothly into 2019.

When you are able to relax, the rewards return in a big way. Focus on clearly communicating and speaking what you truly want during the orb of the New Moon through December 8, as Mercury moves direct and picks up speed once again.

As we move into 2019 it pays to have humility, understanding, and compassion. This shows maturity and aides in overcoming pride.  Turn within and self-evaluate rather than judging others.

Mercury in a square aspect to the 11^th house ruled by Leo in this New Moon chart and gives a great opportunity for reevaluation of self. The 11th house represents the groups and organizations we are connected with.

The holiday season and coming of the new year can indeed be a challenge with Vesta in Aquarius causing us to crave freedom rather than going after our dreams. Why squelch it? Ask yourself how you can find the balance?

Venus in Scorpio causes a craving for love and support in the arms of the perfect mate and wanting more than ever to make this sensation into a home with a hearth. This is due to Ceres in Scorpio urging you into an emotional commitment. Don’t jump too fast! it is best to be sure and I suggest weighing out all possibilities!

The Sun in a tight square to Neptune has us questioning our perceptions of reality and looking at the world with foggy glasses. 

This also creates slippery ground which is not good for finding our footing.

It can seem that the more you try—the more you feel swallowed up and drawn into the depths of paranoia. Neptune square this lunation can cause depression. I suggest reaching out to those you trust for comfort. It is better to stop holding on thinking you can handle all of this alone. Instead find new creative ways to get on track.

Watch out for martyr tendencies and have a reality check regarding your limitations and attributes. This is due to Pallas Athena hovering on the Horizon in the 12^th house in Libra, sextile the lunation. Saturn is square to Pallas and closing in on Pluto over the next year when the two fully conjoin on January 12, 2020. This gives us time to prepare for inevitable transformation. 

Cultivate intelligence and sharpen the mind. Hold the tongue to avoid Tourette’s like outbursts. Choose humor instead. Breathe more deeply and look at both sides of challenging situations by choosing diplomacy over defense.

Put any extra energy into creativity and learning.  This is going to help to keep the mind focused and wrangle the sub vocalization of inner chatter into submission.

The power of a Total Solar Eclipse can remove and unblock the path of life when we clearly focus and plant seeds of good intention. During a Solar Eclipse, the psyche represented by the Moon is covering the ego, represented by the Sun. This casts a shadow and draws a line across the Earth, which represents our bodies and mundane world as we perceive it.

We ride on the back of the Great Turtle through the Cosmic Ocean of oneness. If we look through the rearview mirror, we can see that each step taken has been deliberate and steady. From her giant back the winds of change and oceans of emotions envelop and often sweep us away. May your actions be slow and deliberate like her great body and may your thoughts be of peace. May you find the harmonic music of the spheres soothing as you weather the waves of emotion through this turbulent and magically transformative time.

The main question to ask oneself now is, “What do I really want to change in myself and in the world?”

This eclipse takes place aligned with the star Regulus, the heart of the lion in the constellation of Leo. This mighty star is associated with Fereydun, the mythical king of Persian lore who was prosperous but lost his kingdom when he engaged in revenge.
