When the Lunar Goddess renews herself in precise Virgo we are on point to comb through every corner of our world in order to weigh out and identify what is working. Later today determined Mars is conjunct Saturn, forging a new foundation assisting with new methods of efficiency. This is a potent cocktail for transformation. A new friendship or business connection can sweep you off your feet. A long awaited project can finally break ground and begin. Virgo loves us to be healthful and appreciates our elimination of toxic habits.

Venus trines Uranus during the New Moon so take care to not become overly critical all of a sudden. It is better to just be gentle with this process. Neptune’s opposition to this New Moon can easily drag you into endless tangents. Take care to monitor your behavior and stay on track. The reward for doing so is long-term so it is well worth the effort.

Mercury floats into the luscious lair of Libra just after midnight the morning of September 2. This brings an ability to see both sides of a situation and offers more finesse when dealing with sensitive matters. Be kind to others who aim to share their opinion with you.   

Venus the Goddess of attraction begins her visit of Virgo just after midnight September 5. It is now so much easier to analyze our true feelings about recent decisions in personal and business relationships. Monitor your level of nitpickiness. Too much of this demystifies love and leaves it flat.

The upside of the Full Moon in Pisces September 8, is that it allows fantasy to become a reality. The challenge is to keep from giving too much power to paranoia. The point of a New Moon is when the Sun and Moon seem to rise and set together creating a dark sky. Today’s New Moon in Leo is in a tight combust conjunction with fellow fire planet Jupiter. Fanning the flames further is Mercury in Cancer forming an out of sign conjunction. This dynamic new start happens with Luna at her apogee which is when she is at the furthest point from the earth.

The Sun represents our ego mind and the force that drives us to do and act. Jupiter is the expansive teacher of higher knowledge and far-reaching ideas. Having Jupiter in a fellow fire sign of Leo inspires good vibes and urges the self-esteem to act and “go for it!”

Mars in Scorpio squares the Sun and Moon today causing a necessary irritation to drive toward the good and true uniting of spirit. In addition the Goddess Vesta in Libra forms a separating square. She reminds us that what we thought fanned the flames of our hearts are moving into a more balanced and steady course.

This month the New Moon rejuvenates in her familial home sign of Cancer today. This marks the Solstice point of summer for the Northern Hemisphere and winter for the Southern Hemisphere. The sign of the crab rules the fourth celestial house of ancestry, family and the physical home. When the moon returns home she enforces our connections to our roots. This is a time to revisit our ancestral ground. For many this month it is a cosmic journey home, deep into the self.

July 18 Venus slides into Cancer intensifying emotional bonds with the people you consider family. You find all of your senses are creating warning signs. Proceed cautiously and tap into you heightened intuition.

After his long retreat in retrograde, Saturn turns direct in Scorpio July 20. All standoffs in the financial and work sector ease into movement forward once again. The Scorpion brings windfalls, inheritance and financial gain from others. One of the powerful techniques the this Plutonic sign provides is a cleansing out of that which no longer serves. If you have been clinging to a job for the wrong reason, I recommend you choose to leave. It is inevitable that the rug is to be yanked from under you.

July 21 Uranus begins a retrograde period taking us all the way to the next Solstice point December 21. Unusual and spontaneous occurrences surround the Grandfather of our sky. The New Moon today in Gemini can easily cause a great deal of spaciness. Due to this happening in the sign of the twins we easily find ourselves in situations leaning toward unaccountability. Do all that you can to identify them as they arise and function with the utmost level of integrity. Gemini loves to open new avenues of communication and gets your juices and energies going. Conversations over points needed to be addressed finally find their time under the influence of this fluent lunation. The only hold up can be provided by a mist of confusion brought on by Neptune’s square to the conjunction of Sun and Moon. Do all you can in order to keep yourself grounded lest you be swept away in a dream of better tomorrows. Venus the Goddess of love returns to one of her home signs: Taurus May 28, later in the day following the New Moon. Though not directly aligned with the Moon in Gemini, the energetic theme of finding polarity is intensified and present. Today is a great day to meditate on existing feelings with regards to your most intimate relationships. There is no need to find a solution but rather surrender to what is and ask to worship polarity. The concept of polarity is often misunderstood. It is not a dance of opposites but rather an admiration of the blending of the perceived counterparts. Instead of trying to find solutions simply open up and submit to what is. Ask to be guided as an alternative to focusing on a solution. Polarity is the harmonic balance of perceived opposition. It is the rainbow of all contained in the supposed difference of opposites.

When Mercury the ruler of the twins slips into the feeling realm of Cancer the crab on May 29, we become much more sensitive. Do your best to stay with the meditative intention of the New Moon. When he begins to retrograde on June 7, we are taken for a ride back through all of our recent findings of the previous two weeks. Again I urge you to stay in the moment and be still. This is not a time to make sudden moves as what may appear an innocuous ring of water from a tossed pebble can easily turn into a tidal wave of misperception.

Mercury’s three week retrospective journey concludes on July 1. Just as with all retrogrades the final lessons occur when he reaches his starting point on August 2. Looks like the season is all about clean up in the emotional side of our projects and relationships.

June 17 the mischievous messenger guides us to revisit conversations that began around the Gemini New Moon May 28. I suggest you post this on your fridge and mark these dates on your calendar. In his movement forward the emotions gain momentum by July 4, so watch out for encounters at celebrations to those of you in the USA.

The outer planet Neptune begins a Retrograde cycle June 9, at seven degrees Pisces. Just as the Angel Gabriel blows a horn symbolized on the XX Tarot card entitled Judgment, we are in for a wakeup call. The planet Neptune however is very subtle. This is a great time to work with your dreams and meditations. Do not expect anything. Again the theme for this month and the coming weeks is to surrender and be open. This continues through the November 16.

Our Full Moon this month is in the poetic wanderer’s sign of Sagittarius on June 13. The archer opens our eyes. His ability to sense a goal or target is uncanny. Be sure to have your capture tools of journals or electronic notepad apps ready! A tricky angular relationship of this particular lunar opposition with the Sun has a perverse effect on our long-range planning. Talk things out with teachers and guides. Come to me for a session. Strong breaking of what had been perceived as convention strips away yesterday’s belief system. Practice the necessary actions in order to give time to strengthen up any raw areas.

As I mentioned earlier Mercury is still in retrograde June 17, when he backs up into his home sign of Gemini. Flip your perspective to the opposite view. Practice the reverse for the sake of seeing and feeling other’s viewpoints. June 19, the Sun is conjunct Mercury. This potentially awakens consciousness and helps us to realize our true beingness. I have always told you that you are indeed divine. May you realize this today!

The Solstice point to switch the Northern Hemisphere to Summer and my friends below the equator to winter occurs June 21. This is marked by the Tropical point of Cancer. Now is the time for a gentle retreat in order to give space and time to our minds and to feed our souls. I recommend a stay-cation or an actual getaway. Keep it full of relaxation with plenty of time for reading, writing and drawing. Feed your body and your mind well. Capture your feelings and findings.

Our Lunar month comes to an end with the procession of Venus floating into Gemini. She surely inspires you to get the words out about all you have been contemplating. This is your opportunity to really express yourself and take a step forward. Now is the appropriate time to voice the decisions you have come to realize.

Anything that can possibly cause a slip and slide at home does so. To handle this I suggest this protocol: stick to yourself introspectively. The good news is that your muse has your back so lean on this creative playmate for support. Whether tangible or in your fantasy world, trust in this supportive being to inspire. This helps a much needed financial cushion to take form. It can be packaged in a second job, a loan or a much deserved raise. Evaluate all your recent spending and investing. Identify unhealthy trends and set out to get rid of them. There is a high potential to receive unexpected news. Take extra care to be honest when anything or anyone is rubbing you the wrong way.
